Enter the Ku Bar basement on a Wednesday and you are entering the madcap world of Boogaloo Stu - a high haired, lurex clad, sequinned shoed character with rubber contorting features and a penchant for the smutty. The night begins with the distribution of highly (in)appropriate pin badges to all... you could end up with a 'Tight Moist Twat' or indeed declaring to the masses 'I Love Bumsex'. Guest cabaret this week came from superb burlesque performer Miss Cherry Shakewell who popped from a cherry bakewell, shed some layers and amazed us with her nipple tassle twirling prowess, then Stu himself serenaded us declaring 'I was born to be wild'. Somehow we had already guessed. A quick round of audience participation musical statues saw 4 'willing volunteers' compete with their best sounding orgasm and simulate getting spit-roasted with the winner having a mountain of Pound Shop goodies heaped upon him, then it was dancing til the small hours.
Next week's Halloween episode features a movie on the top floor from 8-10pm followed by more basement shenanigans including the fabulous Gateau Chocolat. Be there or turn grey.
