Heaven on a Saturday is always a packed night of cuties, hotties and tourists, but snapping hot on their heels is Patrick Lilley's WORK!, attracting more and more mid week funksters every Wednesday. Reigning over the main room are sex-on-a-stick Freddie Thomas and the trannytastic Dean Goldman playing housey-funky-disco fun while upstairs Jeffrey Hinton, Philly, T Rex and friends spread some of their urban vibe for the booty shakers. Carrying on the Queer Nation mantle, WORK! was recently nominated 'Club Of The Year 2008' in the BLGBT Community Awards and as such attracts some of the hottest black kids on the block as well as the quirky avant garde Hoxtonites, the Vauxhall musclettes and the Soho socialistas - a more diverse posse you couldn't find any where. As the rest of Heaven's nights are in flux, it's reassuring to have a solid reliable mid week night out to rely on, and with special parties, themes and Vogue competitions there is always something hot happening.
